The imagination is the creative room of the human brain.
Try to imagine yourself with no imagination…
Would you be able to be creative in any way without turning on your imagination?
Without imagination there is no creativity, no creation.
Imagination is looked upon as something which belongs to dreamers, to people who are not practical, but this outlook is wrong.
Because the imagination is the spiritual side of us which is responsible for every physical creation.
From the simplest level to the most intricate.
It is advisable to encourage children to use their imagination from the youngest age possible.
The old attitude was to say to the child “stop imagining and start doing something”.
Today we know that a person who doesn’t imagine doesn’t take
themselves far in life, and doesn’t develop their true potential.
Imagination must be the starting point of all doing.
The imagination is the pencil, the paper and eraser of the brain. This is the place to create and develop.
The abilities of the imagination can be amazing; the inventor Nicola Tseller is proof of this.
Tsella used to invent all his inventions and develop them to the product stage acting only by using his imagination. He used to design in his imagination all the mechanisms of the machines and devices that he invented to the finest detail and then checking how they work with each other.
Until he could not prove in his imagination that the machine wasn’t perfect he would not start building it. His imagination never let him down. All that he designed in his mind happened precisely in reality.
In fact we are always imagining, we think in pictures.
When we sleep and dream we connect to the imaginative side of our sub conscious which knows how to create a whole reality in our imagination, we really believe the dream, we believe that this is the whole complete reality, the pictures are so real and convincing that we co-operate with the script of the dream.
What happens there inside? Who turns the wheels of our dream?
After all our conscious mind is asleep.
Dreams are the area of the sub conscious and they are filled with pictures which create a reality of its own.
About 1/3 of our lives are spent in the dream world of the sub conscious, in the imagination kingdom.
If it is so easy for us to imagine when we are asleep and to imagine in such a way that we are wandering in a virtual world that our imagination has created, then what does it say about the abilities of our imagination?
What does it say about the fact that people complain that they are not able to imagine even a certain object in a clear manner for a few moments?
It says that our conscious mind is not really connected to our imagination.
In order to fully connect to the imagination we must work with a different role within our brain, the sub conscious.
How do we do this?
We must quieten our conscious mind by relaxation, calm, meditation and connect to the abilities of the sub conscious.
When you want to work with your imagination you must cancel out all the distractions around you in order to not occupy your sub conscious.
In the same way as the way you create a pretence reality, without any effort when you are asleep. You are also able to create reality in your imagination by using your vision when you are awake.
The trick is to come as near as possible to the low frequency that the sub conscious works on without falling asleep.
Successful business men, scientists, spiritual people and artists know how to connect to the imaginative abilities of their sub conscious, this is their biggest secret.
Some of them have a special room in their home or in their office where they can calmly sit and imagine. They really do invest daily time in imagining.
It may sound weird to you to dedicate daily time to imagining, but for these people it is trivial in their day to day.
Many people treat their imagination as a given, this is the mistake which makes the difference.
The imagination must be an important part of your life, to imagine is an act that must be added to your daily routine, every day; you must change the creative use of your imagination to a daily habit.
Once you do this the needed results will come quickly.
Maybe you don’t have an option right now for a special “imagination” room, but you have morning and night times.
When you wake up in the morning, you are still present in a state of excellent connection to the sub conscious, and so your ability to imagine is strong, use this time.
The first thing which you do in the morning before all else has to be to imagine your vision in the most complete way possible. You will find that this is the best time for you and that it is very easy to concentrate and get into it in the early hours of the morning, immediately after you have woken up and started your daily routine.
The same goes for night time, just before you go to sleep, when the day is almost behind you, enter this area of the imagination and go over your vision, create the things which you want using realistic visualisation in your imagination.
Enter your imagination; wander in it in the same way as you wander in the real world.
When you see your child imagining, encourage him to continue, even initiate joint imagination time together.
This can be a quality experience for you both which will also prepare the child for a future which is better paved.
A future paved by the imagination, by the single most creative power that we have as human beings.
The imagination is not a function that has been added by mistake as a spare wheel or form of entertainment, it’s the source of our strength.
The imagination is the magic wand which each and every one of us has.
