Million dollar ideas
I received an important question via the email that its answer can help a lot of people, which is why I decided to reply to it through the following article:

The question: “Hi, I have a question connected to The Secret, I have an idea which can yield plenty of money but the closest people to me don’t think so even though my gut feeling feels positive… what do you say, should I go for it at any cost or should I listen to others that feel that I am better off not to?…”

Below are a few explanations that may help you reach a solution:

The first piece of advice that I shall use successfully comes from John Assaraf

John Assaraf decides if to pursue a project or an idea by asking the following question:

Am I willing to trade my life (my time) for this idea? In other words, ideas are the cheapest things in the “thinking market” each one of us has plenty of ideas, sometimes we raise ideas ourselves and sometimes our “Aerial” receives ideas because we are on the right wavelength to receive them.

Should we jump up and implement every idea that comes to mind? The answer is NO!

Even if it is a million dollar idea? Even then I will say with bravery and sincerity – NO!

Two weeks ago I came up with an idea from the category which I call “million dollar ideas”, immediately I felt my blood pressure rise…The adrenalin started to flow through my body and I had an urge to start making things happen.

I let my wife into my idea and she agreed that this is a very strong idea.

Moments before I called people abroad (because the idea is connected with abroad) and I got them excited about the idea, I stopped myself and asked John Assarafs “Billion dollar question”:

Am I prepared to change my life for this idea?

I started to imagine myself already involved in it, implementing the idea…

I asked myself…do I fancy investing my time, my awareness, leave my family for a period of time (this idea requires a long period away from home) to meet on a daily basis with certain people in a certain environment, is this something which I will enjoy whilst I am doing it or will I have to wait with baited breath for the financial reward?

Is the journey worth the target?

The answer categorically was NO!!!

It is not worth any amount of money to me, if I don’t do something that I love and that I am willing to spend my time being involved in doing.

Today after two weeks – I am wholeheartedly complete and happy with my decision… and the urge that was in me doesn’t even tickle my motivation button.

What would have happened had I have taken a ride on my moment of enthusiasm when the idea had arisen and called the people involved?

I would have “ignited” them and they would have ignited a whole chain of people, of course this would have interrupted and disturbed whatever they were doing at the time in their life, because this commands time, planning and execution… a whole chain of reason and result would have been caused and from my knowledge of myself, one day I would have woken up in the morning and said to myself “hey… am I enjoying this? Is this clever? Is this worth my sacrifice? And then because this isn’t really it – I would have cut and run leaving all the damaged people that I “ignited” with the idea but never seeing it through to the end.

I am not saying these things out of a theory; I have experienced this and have learnt much from this.

When an idea is born and it is hot in your “blood” you must calm down a bit and ask yourself the correct questions concerning the implications of the idea, because when the idea is hot, it is hot because you have seen through the eyes of your soul a sweet – the reward that awaits you, however you have categorically not thought about what this requires from you, what changes and what dedication. And is it worth you changing your life (time) in doing this.

At my meeting with John Assaraf I suggested to him an idea of producing a television programme which he will star in that in my opinion would capture the world and will give much value to people.

John smiled… and told me that Ellen Degeneras (a comedienne and big American TV star) suggested to him his own talk show which he would host twice a week, he would need to relocate with his family to Chicago etc…

So, which “human ego” especially one which is also a well known public figure would not agree to be the next “Dr Phil”?

Your own TV show that will be shown all across the USA…

John Assaraf smiled at Ellen exactly in the same way he smiled at me and told us:

Thank you very much; this is not something that I am willing to trade with my life…

When he said this to me – a certain door in my conscious opened…It is a huge power when you are able to say no to the temptations of money and ego, if they don’t level out with your inner wishes and with the personal visions of the way you choose to live and enjoy your life.

So I take my hat off to him and thank him for this awakening that helped me with great success to make decisions.

It brings you back to your vision of yourself and how you choose to live and enjoy your life.

When I introduced myself to the fact that I create my own reality a number of years ago – I decided to achieve everything and big time – even if it isn’t what my heart and soul really wants, It is why I experienced a number of lessons that taught me that even though I create my own reality and know how to do this,

More important than the achievement is to be complete with yourself and with what you are doing.

The target is only a milestone the journey itself is life.

This is why the journey is more important than the destination. Tony Robbins once said something that changed my perception:

He said that many people place themselves astronomical targets when in fact they don’t perform the simple task that will prevent from them a lot of pain in the future, for example:

Let’s say that you discovered The Secret and you give yourself a target of making 200 million dollars within the next 5 years.

Everything is possible right? Right.

Are there people that make 200 million in a year? Ask Madonna who made this amount from her last tour and there is no shortage of people that make this amount in less than 5 years.

But when you throw and determine such a large amount – you are making a mistake from the start.

Why?

If you will do a calculation of what your real needs are and what your dreams are you will discover that 1 to 5 percent of this amount will be more than enough for you.

Make a list of all the things that you want to achieve and check their value:

What house do you want? What car? How much money do you require, enough in order to satisfy your needs?

When you perform this very quick calculation you will discover that from 200 million you can easily aim for 20 million dollars or even 2 million dollars or even less… it all depends on – what you are aiming for.

What do you really want to achieve? How long do you want to achieve it in? What is the real estimated amount that you need in order to make all your dreams come true?

Past and present teachers of The Secret tell us again and again:

In the universe there is nothing for nothing. You don’t have to know how you will reach this amount, but be assured that you will need to forfeit and will be required to give something  in order to receive the required amount. This is the law of the reason and the outcome – giving and receiving.

When the amount is authentic towards you and your ambitions – so is the value that you will give towards the amount.

When you are more specific about the amount you require:

It will become easier for you to achieve it (the realistic amount will be much lower than what you thought)

You will know exactly why you need the money – the universe works and reacts exactly to specific orders

You will stay focused and motivated because you will know that money on its own is not the aim but the things that you want to exchange the money with, once it is in your possession.

The biggest problem people have is that they do not know what exactly they want. And when you don’t know exactly what you want – you make silly mistakes which cause a mess.

John Assaraf and people like him have a precise vision – it is very difficult to move them from the targets that they have set themselves – even when it is very tempting.

Lets return to the question that I was asked: “what do you say, should I go for it at any price or maybe I am better off to listen to people that think its not worth it?”

The answer:

Only you can reply to this question.

Do you know what you want?

What is certain is that the money itself is not your target – but the things in which you will exchange the money for?

Are you willing to exchange your life (time) for this idea?

Imagine yourself working with this in your day to day life…how do you feel about this?

If the answer is no, then be sure that you have the ability to find another idea that will not only produce your desired financial reward but you will also enjoy it whilst doing – we live in a universe where everything is possible.

You are free to choose whatever you desire and are also able to achieve it – but you are not free from the consequences of your decisions.

Ensure that you are willing to accept the consequences and that they are on the same level with your vision as to how you wish to live your life.

Everything begins with choice – choice is everything! As for the voices and opinions of others? What others?

The world is a mirror and sometimes the voices that others speak are your fears in disguise or your inner truth that is trying to signal to you to “examine” your steps carefully.

The moment that something is in harmony with your vision and inner truth – the voices and opinions of others silence as if by the wave of a magic wand…these voices are the echoes of your own current dilemmas.

Sit with yourself and level your ideas with your emotions.

Imagine yourself involved in it – if it feels great – do it

If not?

There is untold ways and ideas for you at any given time if you are willing to open up to them…

The idea is a thought that must be on par with your emotions and then the action is complete.

Thought – emotion – action.

And the voices of others – they silence…
