My daily mantra part 5

Repeat the following mantra 10 times:

I already have everything I need in order to be happy

What are you missing? The truth is that you are not lacking anything other than gratitude for what you already have.

The desire for more comes from absence, however is this absence real?

Many times we only need to hope that if we get something that at present we do not have it will make us happy.

We are able to see this even in young children, they really want their parents to buy them a specific toy and they use the energy of desire to persist until their parents buy them this toy, and after five minutes the parents find this toy thrown on the floor and the child is already after something else.

Where is this derived from? The desire for more is a natural energy that is meant to encourage us to create, grow and develop.

All the wonderful things that are the fruits of the creations of mankind are derived from this surge of desire.

However this desire can never be satisfied because the moment you have obtained what you have asked for, a moment later this energy is already looking for the next thing – it demands more.

The negative side to this is in the fact that it deflects our thinking from what we already have and often it causes us to chase after things that we don’t really want to obtain.

It is similar to the bus in the film “speed” which is forbidden from stopping or slowing down, it must continue to drive.

So how can we control this bus ? This energy ? This desire ?

If we will act cleverly enough, we will understand that the energy of desire is a very important resource for us and we can direct it in positive ways during our life.

Firstly one must understand that denying this desire or running away from it will not be useful because if we close the doors to it will come through the window, and if we close the window it will come in the character of “our grandma” …. Which is why there is no point objecting to it!

The stages we have to go through in order to utilise the energy of desire and passion is:

Gratitude

– the moment that you show gratitude you synchronise all your energy with the energy of the universe.

And when this happens, the energy of desire and passion are raised to a spiritual experience that fills you so much that you do not require a thing, you are already happy.

Clarification of your genuine desire –

many times we chase after other desires in the belief that this is really what we want.

The truth is that the number of genuine desires is few and can even be reduced to one which is:

The desire to be happy.

The desire for happiness comes disguised in many shapes and we tend to go in round about and complicated ways to fulfil this desire. We forget that we already have all that we need in order to be happy.

All that we have to do is recognise this all the time which is why this mantra is very important.

When we recognise the fact that we already hold all that we need in order to be happy then all our mistaken goals melt and disappear because what is hiding behind them is the desire for happiness.

When we recognise the fact that there is nothing to look for because now at this precise moment we can allow ourselves to be happy… something happens.

Our creation starts to arrive from another place, from a higher place, from abundance and not from lack.

And when we act from abundance, our petty and mistaken desires do not shift us from our centre.

And our centre is happiness.

When the energy of desire comes from the centre of our happiness – everything becomes right.

So… get off the “speed” bus and board your flight to happiness.

Up up and away…
